Monthly Listening: April 2021
This month's rundown of great new releases by Lyrical School, Chelmico, mekakushe and many more
Hi! This is March’s Monthly Listening list, a quick rundown of new Japanese albums I checked out this month that I enjoyed. You can browse past Monthly Listenings in the archives.
These next couple months are going to be… emotionally interesting for me as we enter a time that was spent in quarantine just a year ago. I can’t help but reflect about how music-listening has become different with some songs I discovered during that period giving me a flashback to where my head was around then. But I take it that I am not alone experiencing whatever this awkward feeling is, and that actually makes me feel a bit better. Hopefully this batch of albums will bring me more positive memories in the future.
As usual, here is this month’s Spotify playlist of songs that didn’t make the cut on the main newsletter. Here are the new releases I enjoyed in April.
